The Port Arinaga is part of the Port Authority of Las Palmas. The Port of Las Palmas is noted for being the foremost port in the Mid Atlantic. It is the main goods distribution centre in the Canaries and one of the most important in Spain, being connected with more than 180 ports in 5 continents through 30 seaways. BGSL's facilities at the port in Las Palmas are located directly on a modern dock, which is able to accommodate any size of ship up to the largest bulk carriers.

BGSL's storage facilities at the port are more than adequate. Labour, draft and loading capabilities are among the best in the world. BGSL and its management team have many years of prior experience working in the Canary Islands.
